Job Summary: The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) Biological Technician I is responsible for forest and fish propagation, fire prevention, cultivation, and harvesting activities and/or maintaining a wildlife management area. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy. |
Typical Functions:

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Assist Fisheries District 3 staff with fish population sampling, fish habitat installation, angler creel surveys, fish structure aging, water quality monitoring, basic manual labor, routine maintenance of equipment, and other duties as assigned |
Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations: Must possess a valid Arkansas driver’s license. |

Other Specific Information: Candidates who have not already completed a boater education course will be required to pass a boater education course within one month of hire. Occasional weekend and evening work is required. |
